“Rapsody in colors” - Rina Maimon

“What we play is life itself” (Louis Armstrong)

The paintings of Rina Maimon (born 1989) are laden with color and vitality, expressing the close connection between painting and music.

Maimon was born and raised into art. At the age of 4, she had already discovered the world of painting and composition, and the studio of her father – artist and lecturer Yitzhak Maimon – became her playground. Her father often painted women in cafes in European cities, and it was from him that Maimon drew inspiration for her generous use of color. At the age of 18, she began studying art at the Avni Institute, where she developed her unique style of Israeli art. Her playful and optimistic works are loaded with color and humor.
